The senior information security analyst will be responsible for supporting the core services of the Information Security group. The Senior ISA will provide expertise and support in the area of network security and architecture, vulnerability management, traffic analysis, forensic support, and compliance and audit readiness. The ISA’s primarily responsibilities will be to support customer due diligence questionnaires, customer audits procedures and addressing customer security findings.
The role is expected to work closely with the Information Security team and will receive guidance and feedback. There will be opportunities to lead specific projects.
Provide technical security support for internal audits and regulatory exams.
Researching, testing, and/or recommending new security software and devices.
Monitor and enforce the security controls.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and writing skills, with the proven ability to communicate and translate technical concepts, requirements, and issues to technical and non-technical business audiences.
The position involves the regular exchange of information with internal Iron Mountain stakeholders and Iron Mountain customers – clear verbal and written communication is an important requirement of the position. The position also requires the confidential handling and exchange of sensitive information.
Position has the opportunity, if interested, to assist internal business teams on information security terms in contractual documents
Total travel: <5%, Overnight travel: <5%
Interest in, but not required to possess, an information security certification - CISSP, CCNA, etc. or the ability to work towards obtaining the certification
Education: 4 year college degree
Experience: 2 – 5 years preferred
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Visio and/or Google Business Suite
Excellent organizational, time and project management skills, with the ability to efficiently manage multiple short- and long-term projects and tasks under tight schedule and reactive conditions
High degree of business acumen, hard-working and determined
Some knowledge of contract law and strategic approaches to contracting a plus, but not required
