Critical Competencies
Supports and helps maintain a safe and secure working environment in the facilities.
Maintains all company records and information in an accurate, complete and confidential manner.
Must possess the ability to troubleshoot and repair (under supervision) critical mine infrastructure within the Boyers Underground space.
Utilizes knowledge of fundamental mechanical, electrical, carpentry, plumbing, or heating and cooling skills in performing assignments.
Repairs and maintains physical structure of establishment.
Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment.
Position is critical to ensuring the underground space is fully compliant with all published safety and environmental regulations and meeting customer SLAs.
Demonstrated excellence in customer service skills.
Excellent analytical skills.
Good verbal and written communication skills in order to interface effectively with clients, peers across Iron Mountain and Iron Mountain senior management.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work both independently and within a team environment and strongly self-motivated.
Ability to deal with conflict in a constructive manner.
Excellent relationship building skills.
Ability to work productively in environments requiring multi-tasking and working against deadlines.
Must know procedures and safety measures in areas of specialties.
Must be an expert on OSHA rules and regulations as it pertains to electrical and power generation safe work practices.
