Lead of Quality & Compliance Baltics

As a Lead of Quality & Compliance you are responsible for driving our Quality & Compliance agenda, ensuring we obtain and retain our quality certifications and implement the policies, procedures & processes for the Baltic Region. Responsible for supporting the internal and external Quality audits, working with the local operation teams to ensure we are prepared.

You are to support the continual improvement within the Baltic Region in relation to its stakeholders (eg employees, customers and potential customers, shareholders, suppliers, general public and government bodies).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality – Ensure the effectiveness and timely review of the QMS, develop and maintain procedures, standards and policies. Maintain the document control system. Make suggestions for continuous improvement.

  • Customer Assurance - work closely with Commercial & Operational teams to ensure we have an effective Customer Assurance model which allows for expedient and efficient response to customer requests.

  • Supporting the Management Representatives Roles for Quality – as delegated by the Quality and Compliance Manager NE.

  • Supplier Audits – (a) Plan and organize the designated Supplier Audits in conjunction with the Quality and Compliance Manager NE (b) Undertake the audit according to the “Supplier Audit Process”.

  • Internal Department Audits – (a) Plan and organize the Internal Department Audits in conjunction with the Quality and Compliance Manager NE (b) Undertake the Internal Department Audits using the approved audit checksheet and record the findings in the Database (c) Work with the Internal Department and IM colleagues to ensure the entry of timely and effective corrective actions and the closure of the findings (d) Work with the responsible persons to facilitate root causes and corrective actions and finding closure.

  • External Certification Audits – Attend or support these and facilitate as directed by the Quality and Compliance Manager NE, support with the documentation of root cause and corrective actions for any findings.

  • Customer Audits – Support the Commercial Team by attending and supporting audits where possible or providing support as requested by the Customer Audit Team.

  • Continual Improvement - To work with colleagues at all levels within Iron Mountain NE to ensure that the requirement for continual improvement is achieved by supporting the responsible managers for all the relevant quality standards. Working with relevant business leaders, identify and support the attainment of relevant certifications to support the growth of the business

  • Global Safety Risk & Security Support - Support the GSRS function and actively participate in advocate calls/meetings. Provide support on business continuity and security design and strategy for implementation of technical security and business continuity measures for current or proposed projects.

  • System Policies, Procedures and Plans and all its associated documentation, requirements, reviews and updates - Work with business to ensure compliance with governmental safety, risk and security regulations or requirements. Provide support to the business along these lines


  • Experience of Management Systems (eg ISO9001, ISO14001, OHSAS18001/ISO45001, ISO27001 or BS10008) in a multi-site environment.

  • Previous experience of working with Customers and Suppliers.

  • Demonstrable evidence of an eye for detail and the consistent application of tools eg Global scorecard, Document Control requirements.

  • Proven ability to collaborate with and influence individuals within all levels of the organization.

  • Demonstrable commitment to an holistic approach and an enthusiasm to learn on the job and to develop knowledge and expertise in all areas of the business eg Quality, Environment, Health & Safety, Information Security, Legal Admissibility and Inventory Systems

  • A team worker who is able to work on their own initiative with limited outside input.

  • Demonstrable evidence of competence to train/present/brief stakeholders on complex and simple topics.

  • Demonstrable confidence in effectively communicate with other parties using a variety of delivery methods (eg face-to-face meetings, telephone call, conference call, e-mail, detailed written report).

  • PC literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and GSuite

  • Demonstrable evidence of effective analysis of problems and determining potential solutions.

  • Knowledge of Environmental Law and other requirements using systems such as CEDREC.

  • Must be able to speak and communicate effectively in English
